My advice to players who want to improve

Play over the board with players stronger than you. I've recently started attending a club/tournaments and it really has made a difference. When you lose to a stronger player and are lucky enough to have them point out your mistakes you'll learn a lot. That kind of analysis is so much more powerful and memorable then flipping through your inaccuracies with Stockfish.
I agree, real people actually give tips rather than showing the best move
you can also memorize engine line. Although 1 downside is that you might mix stuff up and accidentally play something wrong in the game

But it's also much more subjective and abstract. It's not one or the other, proper chess studying would surely require both studying computer analyses and talking to other chess players about strategy.
