LA Chess Social

The LA Chess Social is a one of a kind chess mixer founded in South Pasadena in 2017. Our club meets each week in various locations around LA, renting out bars and restaurants. We book our own in house live music, which is specifically curated to compliment chess play. Our tournaments are held twice a month at the Chess Social, and online once a month. In addition to chess, our club also hosts simuls with notable players and has biweekly raffles! The Chess Social has rented out over twenty different locations and has hundreds of members attend each week. Come check us out!
