yes
Totally possible, we all get that, however it would be lovely for Lichess to handle all of that in-house.
We could use Challonge or similar to sort the brackets, but again, an in-house system would be awesome

For the time being I've set up a Team that people can join if interested in correspondence tournaments.
Please join and comment on it's forum thread if you'd like to try.

( just now realised I spelt correspondence wrong in the title of all places..... It won't let me adjust it.)

If anyone joins the Team then please comment on the team forum thread to sign up for a tourny
I had the admins delete the team as I was embarrassed about the spelling error...
Here is the new link. Sorry to those who had joined, can you please do so again?

I am also interested in such a tournament (as well as many others, just check around for a similar titles in the forum). Sadly people are more interested in randomly moving pieces around. 15 secs per game tournament, 5 second per game, 2 seconds + 0.001 increment.
Hopefully lichess will add correspondence soon.

@nikolajtesla Try joining the Team above, I'm trying to get a little tournament going as a test.
